Our Mission
Statement
Elements Dance Academy (formerly Free Elements Dance Studio) strives to create a close-knit dance community through human connection, artistry, hard-work, and integrity. Our goal is to create authentic dance artists who are open minded, critical thinkers, with the confidence to set forth on their life path. We want to inspire Terrace to hold dance in high regards and to enjoy our performances from the edge of their seat.

About Elements Dance
We offer dance classes to youth age 3+ in a variety of styles, such as, Classical Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, Acrobatics, Tap, and, Hip-Hop. We also offer session based pre-school level Creative Dance classes for children ages 2 – 5 years and session-based Adult classes.
Our studio is a space where technique and strength are combined with a focus on creative movement and the joy of dance. In class we also expand on Lyrical, Contemporary, Variety, and Musical Theatre dance. We have both a General Program (offering lessons for all levels), as well as a performing / competitive pre-professional Dance Company. (Company dancers are accepted via invitation / audition only.)
Our Studio is certified with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA), Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (ADAPT), Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), & Acrobatic Arts. Currently, we offer dance exams in Jazz & Classical Ballet within our competitive program. We run our classes out of Skeena Middle School here in the beautiful, Terrace BC.
